I received this as a wedding gift. I used it once and it made great waffles. It comes with a measuring cup which scoops the right amount of batter for a beautiful waffle. The indicator light lets you know it's ready to use, and when it's done cooking the waffle. The only problem is, after that initial use, it wouldn't heat up. It was under warranty so I exchanged it. Again, I used it once and it made beautiful waffles all morning. The next weekend I tried to use it again, and same thing, it wouldn't heat up. Are these disposable, one-time use appliances?
