This waffle iron worked great until the 1-year warranty was up. We used this a little over 7 times over the year we had it, and it just quit heating right in the middle of making a waffle the last time we used it. We could not get it to heat up again. This is a piece of junk when you consider how long it lasts before it just stops heating. I would not recommend this waffle iron to anyone. I read the review about getting a new fuse, but really come on, this should last longer than 1 year before quitting, especially just using it around 7 times total. I am not very handy at replacing or fixing appliances, so this is very inconveient, and to take it to a repair shop for small appliances is just totally unacceptable at around $50.00 for repair.
