I purchased this waffle iron, because it is the same brand as the one in the work cafeteria... (which they have had for YEARS). Of course, the cafeteria has a bulky version of the waring pro, which looks like it's from the 70s, but it works great!!!
This one worked great... it made fluffy, evenly cooked waffles which my son loves!
Unfortunately, over time, it began to burn the waffles on the outside. I don't mind slightly burned waffles... but they were uncooked on the inside. I thought that perhaps it needed more lubrication, so I bought all types of sprays... even tried brushing oil on the surface before pouring the batter... but all to no avail. After seven desparate attempts, it is in the trash. I am quite at a loss what I should get as a replacement. I am unsure if it is bad luck, or whether the same thing will happen to the next one.
The one in the cafeteria still works...Get more detail about Waring Pro WMK300A Professional Stainless-Steel Belgian Waffle Maker.
